We are Hiring! Senior User Experience Designer

We’re a growing business and are looking for a confident and experienced User Experience Designer to join our London based, multi-disciplinary team to help create smart, desirable and measurable experiences across the entire service and platforms. Based in the heart of London's thriving digital cluster in Shoreditch, you will be joining our talented multi disciplinary team that works on top global brands to start up clients across sectors.

Beginning of October start


We are looking for a seasoned Senior Experience Designer to:

/ Conceive, lead and create innovative digital service experiences that connect people and businesses with measurable impact

/ Generate transformational value through design by looking at the whole service to unearth market, people and technology insights to create digital experiences that mix hard commercial reality, people-focused insights and technical opportunities

/ Provide strong strategic thinking to solve complex business challenges and create and deliver evidence based digital strategies and service experiences that deliver measurable success

/ Be hands on across strategic and design deliverables as well as lead and support the team to deliver experience research, UX and UI deliverables (Ui - bonus!)

/ Think holistically and strategically about a client 's business and identify opportunities to generate business value, improve the service and user experience based on qualitative and quantitative research

/ Deliver world-class thinking and convincing client presentations, pitches and advising and strategically on developing our clients

/ Inspire passion, dedication and best in class work from others

/ Support estimation, planning, and direction of creative work to deliver best in class solution for start ups to global companies

Research & strategy skills

/ Utilising UX and Experience Design methodologies to gain a deep understanding of people’s desires, business goals and service performance to unearth unmet needs and innovation opportunities

/ Plan and facilitate experience design workshops, experience assessment, conduct user research, usability testing, customer journey mapping, business process mapping, trend, market and technology analysis and content audits

/ Transform opportunities into experience visions, roadmaps, digital strategies and service blueprints

/ Create user experience goals and conceptual frameworks; user personas, related key user journeys and relevant flowcharts;

/ Inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques with clients and internal workshops

/ Responsible for keeping abreast with latest industry developments, technical innovation and digital best practise that deliver ground breaking and future proof concepts

/ Capable to present and sell in experience process and solutions internally and externally, from supporting pitches to project presentations

Design & Technical Skills

/ Create and oversee qualitative and quantitative insights into innovative experience solutions, exhibited in user scenarios, lo-fi to hi-fi Information Architecture and wireframes, UI, interactive prototypes and technical annotations/specification documentation

/ Design UX and UI deliverables (UI massive bonus!)

/ Communicate and envision service experience concepts and ideas using methods & tools that illustrate all the components and touchpoints of the digital service

/ Strong ability to think technically and collaborate seamlessly with Technologists to consider the benefits, possibilities and constraints of common coding languages and platforms

/ Fluency with common design software (Axure, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Keynote, Microsoft etc )


/ 5-10 years prior work in agencies

/ Eloquent and highly articulate verbal/written communication & presentation skills, with the ability to successfully articulate design strategy and concepts to the team and client

/ Ahead of the curve – you know what’s coming next and why it’s important

/ Grounded – you also know what’s relevant to people, business and technology

/ Visionary – you want to continually set new benchmarks

/ A strong Experience / UX/UI (UI - bonus!) design portfolio that demonstrates your strategic thinking, user experience methodologies and resulting UX/UI solutions across sectors and interactive platforms

/ Solid academic background in a related field preferable, such as Design, Interaction, HCI, Communication or Psychology, or commensurate work experience; advanced degree a plus

/ An enthusiastic and hands on team player that builds and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, partners and clients

/ A strong work ethic and a passion for drawing out and driving creativity and innovation

/ Fluent in English, both verbal and written
