We are looking for fantastic digital designers to grow our team.

 

For the last five years, Prospect has been doing digital strategy and execution for high profile international clients such as Nokia, bmi airlines, Nokia Siemens Networks and Tesco. We work on websites, mobile sites, mobile apps, interactive kiosks, in-flight entertainment systems, just about anything with pixels. If you are a digital designer up for the challenge of making brands come alive online across media, we would like to hear from you.

Alongside our blue chip clients, we do plenty of projects for smaller clients, even start-ups, which require creative leaps. Our cross-disciplinary, international outlook has helped us achieve success. We are looking for like-minded designers that can think, as well as do, to expand our creative team.

The successful candidate will work in a people-centred way. Our focus is on providing the best user experience possible. This means having empathy for users and being able to deliver a solid rationale for design, rather than just dazzle with visual skill. Looking good is fine, but we endeavor to make users feel great. This means we need context aware and detail focused people.

 

The ask:

  • middleweight designer with 4 years of solid agency experience
  • independent thinker
  • strong conceptual skills
  • ability to get under the skin of a brand
  • good storyteller
  • superb visual skills
  • command of Adobe products (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Fireworks)
  • healthy respect for technology
  • general understanding of web coding
  • some Flash skills
  • knowledge of motion graphics a plus

 

Your day-to-day activities will include:

 

  • working with other team members to understand customer needs
  • high level development of brand ideas
  • creation of personas and scenarios
  • interrogation of information architecture
  • development of wireframes
  • concept generation
  • defining interactions and behaviors that deliver a sense of delight
  • participation in usability testing sessions
  • concept refinement (to perfection)
